Katie Clark is a Research Consultant and owner of CHER Solutions, LLC. For the first 12 years of her career she provided counseling to individuals to help them improve their lives through education and implementing harm reduction techniques.
Since 2010 she has expanded her skill set by focusing on research implementation, data management and analysis, database development and survey design.
These experiences have allowed her to develop a unique set of skills that fully embrace the art and science of public health.
As a consultant, Katie's goal is to share solutions and solve problems. Her analytical problem solving abilities assist her in addressing client's current issues of concern and identifying future complications.
Katie completed her BA in Health Arts and Sciences from Goddard College in Plainfield Vermont. She focused on methadone and pregnancy, public health, and audio journalism. Her senior thesis titled Voices from the Harbor is a qualitative research study presented in an audio documentary format.
Katie graduated from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill with a Masters of Science in Public Health (MSPH) in 2013. Her area of focus was Maternal and Child Health. Her master's thesis explored women's behaviors in disclosing drug use during pregnancy to prenatal providers. She is currently a doctoral student in Translational Health Sciences at George Washington University.
